You don’t need any big fancy sewing machine to be a sewist or to run a sewing business. Use what you have until you can afford a better one. This Janome machine was definitely an upgrade for me three years ago. But for the first five years of my sewing business, I was using a Singer machine worth $200 off of Amazon and it worked fine for all of those years. So don’t be discouraged if you’re starting out sewing. Buy what you can afford and just enjoy the process of creating. Thanks @audreywolf.co
